Pecorino Calabrese cheese is so called because of its origin: it is produced in the Crotonese Marquisate, between the plains of the Ionian coast and the slopes of the Sila plateau, where the diversity of the grassy essences that derive from the particular nature of the soil, provide a unique variety of milk.
Pecorino Calabrese is produced with the best whole sheep's milk. Intense and aromatic to the nose, the cheese makes what you will find in its flavor immediately perceptible: a pleasantly intense experience for the palate.
Few, simple ingredients, an entirely Calabrian goodness to be enjoyed as an appetizer or after consuming a second course of meat. Fresh pecorino has a soft and compact texture and a thin crust.
It is advisable to open the product so that it can oxygenate and therefore acquire its original flavour, a few hours before consumption.
This product is shipped in a freshness bag and gel ice to ensure correct conservation during transport.
