Die rote Zwiebel von Tropea ist der Name der roten Zwiebel, die zwischen Nicotera in der Provinz Vibo Valentia und Campora San Giovanni in der Gemeinde Amantea in der Provinz Cosenza und entlang des Tyrrhenischen Gürtels angebaut wird. Unsere rote Zwiebel ist eines der bekanntesten und beliebtesten Gemüse der Welt. In der lokalen Gastronomie sind die Zwiebelmarmeladen und süß-sauren Zwiebeln bekannt, die in Vorspeisen, auf Bruschetta und bei Marmeladen die Verwendung auf Käse oder gekochten Gerichten finden.

Unsere Marmelade beinhaltet die ausschließliche Verwendung von Tropea-Zwiebeln mit roten Zwiebeln unter Zusatz von Zucker, Sultaninen und Weinessig. Also keine Zutaten, die nicht ganz natürlich sind. Unser Rezept ist exklusiv und stammt aus der Eigenproduktion dieses Naturschutzgebiets, das noch in Kalabrien und insbesondere an der tyrrhenischen Küste von Cosenza stattfindet.

Zutaten: Rote Zwiebel von Topea ggA (enthält Sulfite) 85%, Zucker, Rosinen, Weinessig (enthält Sulfite)
