Granetti, die sich von Frese nur durch ihre längliche Form unterscheiden, sind eine Art hart geröstetes Brot, das für den Bedarf von Familien geschaffen wurde, um täglich einen Ersatz für frisches Brot zu haben. Der Teig ist derselbe wie das Brot, aber die Verarbeitung ist ein wenig anders. Die Fresa ist wie Granetto im Grunde geröstetes Brot mit einer länglichen Form, wie das lange Sandwich, das dann geröstet wird, wenn es wieder in den Ofen gestellt und somit geröstet wird.
