Territory: the origin of the grapes is purely hilly, a particularly hilly territory, a particularly suitable territory, located south of Cosenza at the confluence of the two rivers Crati and Busento;

Grapes: a balanced combination of Magliocco and Merlot;

Cultivation method: traditionally with sapling, average yield deliberately reduced to traditionally sapling, average yield deliberately reduced to 80 quintals of grapes per hectare;

Harvest period: from the end of September to mid-October;
